The side band design with the added phosphorous tube allows for triple-shoot capability while maintaining low draft forces. These knives have a 3/4 inch (19 mm) carbide tip. The wing on the side of the tip is also protected with carbide. The wing protrudes out further than our 200-KNF-0863 liquid knife and should provide increased seperation of seed and fertilizer.  Because of the wider wing this knife is manufactured with both left and right side wings. When installing on a seeding implement on half of the machine should have openers with left side wings part 682-ASY-0711P and the other half should have right side wings part 682-ASY-0712P.

The seed tube for this knife accepts 1-1/4 inch (31 mm) O.D. and 1-1/8 inch (28 mm) O.D. air hose. Two inserts, 880-BSH-1130, are included for use wit the 1-1/8" hose.

Note: Be sure to mount the knives so that the fertilizer wing is pointing to the inside of the machine. This will eliminate skewing and minimize plugging of the fertilizer tube.
