This bolt-on knife fits 47° and 50° shanks. The bottom hole is slotted to fit 1 3/4" - 2 1/4" (45-57 mm) bolt hole spacing.  The tubes on this holder accept 1 1/4" (31mm) O.D. and 1 1/8" (28mm) O.D. airhose.  An insert, 880-BSH-1130, is included for use with the 1 1/8" inch hose.

The front of shank seed delivery provides excellent seed placement and greatly reduces the risk of plugging in wet conditions.  This knife also provides maximum flexibility as it can be used with any of the Category 1 Replaceable Tips. That means you can go from a narrow 3/4 inch tip right up to a 4 inch spread tip. We recommend an anti-seize product be applied to the tongue of the holder prior to the tip being installed. This will ensure easy removal of this tip when it is being changed.

When installing the 047-ASY-1000 on a Bourgault machine with MRBs, you should consider using the rear delivery 047-KNH-1000 (see below) on the shanks immediately behind the MRBs.
